About

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Riccardo Gnudi and I am an Italian organist, early keyboardist and composer based in Sweden, where I work as Organist at the Lutheran Parish of Karlskoga-Degerfors-Nysund (Southern Bergslagens region) and Artistic Director for Karlskoga Organ Academy. After many years of study in Italy, England and Sweden, I am now mainly focusing on historically informed performance and research on historical organs and practice. As a concert organist, I have performed in many churches and cathedrals around Europe (including Gent Cathedral, Luxembourg Cathedral, St. Mauritius Cathedral in Hattingen, Bride's Fleet Street Church in London, Engelbrekts Church in Stockholm, Gothenburg Cathedral, Plock Cathedral, Sønderborg Castle Chapel, Teramo Cathedral, Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica in Bergamo, etc.) and as a composer I have been commissioned to write music for choirs and ensembles.
For enquiries about my music, lectures, classes and concerts feel free to contact me!

"I met Riccardo Gnudi in Pisa in April of 2013. He was gracious host and offered a tour of the Chiesa Nazionale di S.Stefano dei Cavalieri. I had the opportunity to hear him play the superb organ in the church, and in so doing learned of his considerable talent as a performer. Riccardo also performed one of his own compositions for me, which I consider to be an excellent work for organ. I am honored to count him among the best of my colleagues in the field of church music."
Frederick Frahm, organist and composer
